So well said. I have been thinking about this recently especially. The new launches can be so overwhelming. If there was a slow down button, I would press it in a heartbeat!

Out of some of the brands you mentioned, I’m so grateful to you for introducing me to regimen lab 💙 the cream has been a lifesaver.

So well said! I do agree that we are seeing less innovation in the ingredients vein of the skincare industry right now, and at the same time, we are seeing new products being created every single day. So much of it is unnecessary or actually unhelpful for our skin. As an esthetiican, I always tell my clients to know the WHY behind their skincare product's ingredients and the why behind why they are purchasing the item. There are too many skincare items being advertised all the time, it confuses the consumers

I loved this. It’s so true that brands are prioritizing what makes people stop mid-scroll over what actually makes a difference in the skin. This was such a great read. I genuinely agreed with everything you said. As much as TikTok has helped people become more interested in skincare, I also think it’s shifted focus toward aesthetic and trend-driven products instead of formulations that actually make a real impact. It’s so refreshing to see someone talk about this from a formulation perspective.
